About CSL Biotherapies

CSL Biotherapies Australia manufactures and markets vaccines and pharmaceutical products in Australia with particular focus on products for the prevention and treatment of serious disease. 

CSL Biotherapies Australia operates one of the world’s largest influenza vaccine manufacturing facilities for supply to Australia and global markets. We are Australia’s first line of defence against this serious infectious disease and we work closely with public health authorities and the Australian Department of Health & Ageing to develop and license a safe and effective pandemic influenza vaccine in preparedness if this disaster were to occur.

Our heritage underpins our strong commitment to research and development, reliability, safety and quality. This philosophy has resulted in the development of many life-saving products and allowed us to play a key role in the collaborative work that has delivered the world’s first vaccine against cervical cancer.

We also in-license a number of vaccines and pharmaceutical products from our partner companies to ensure a comprehensive range of products are available to meet the needs of all Australians at home and abroad.
