Plasma Fractionation for Singapore

CSL Bioplasma has been Singapore’s national fractionator of plasma-derived therapies since 1993.

For further information visit the Centre for Transfusion Medicine at HSA (Health Sciences Authority) website.

Today, Singapore’s Health Sciences Authority continues to choose CSL Biotherapies as Singapore’s national plasma fractionator. Regulated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration, a regulator held in high regard worldwide and the Centre for Drug Administration at the HSA, CSL Bioplasma and the Centre for Transfusion Medicine at the Health Sciences Authority ensure that the blood and plasma donations made voluntarily by people living in Singapore continue to deliver the benefits that toll fractionation provides – a sustainable, reliable and high quality source of plasma-derived therapies, developed to treat serious medical conditions including immunodeficiency disorders, a range of neurological disorders, haemophilia, and trauma.

Blood and plasma donated by Singapore’s donors are fractionated into three plasma-derived therapies at CSL Biotherapies’ unique, purpose-built, chromatographic plasma fractionation facility, located at Broadmeadows in Victoria, Australia.
